Professional Reviews Emotional and Wonderful
Ms. Fitzpatrick is known for the wacky humor in her books. While I definitely recognized her writing style in this book, it was more emotional than other books of hers I've read. Miranda and Russ are wonderful together as they travel from adversaries to falling in love. Jesse is a heart-tugging secondary character. Be prepared for a surprise ending that will make you smile. I loved it!

Heartwarming romance
You will like this book if you like Fiction/Mystery/Suspense/Heartwarming/Romance or just plain like to read books.
The book is about 2 claimants and 2 wills and who is the rightful owner and heir of the house. The kicker: Miss Virginia did make out 2 wills and signed them on the same day. Who were the Claimants? Claimant 1: Miranda Nolan who loves dance, theater, music, teaching and helping children. She doesn't know how to cook either.
Claimant 2: Russ Gerrik is someone who used to fight over in Afghanistan before he lost his hearing.
When Miranda and Russ have to work together, Russ finds that Miranda is the only person that ever suggested texting to help translate for Russ so he could understand her. As stated before there were 2 different wills which means 2 different lawyer firms and lots of lawyers. But everyone is after the paintings now that they know how much they are worth. But where are they? Do they really exist? Do Miss Virginia's journals hold the clues to finding the painting? When they are at a gallery showing, Russ then has an idea and they go back to the house in the attic and what do they find? Not 1, Not 2 but 3 paintings. I'm not going to tell you where because that would spoil it.
I will say this though more into the book you'll find the one kid Miranda is teaching is being abused by his foster mom and it's then she wants to adopt this kid. I recommend this book it's 5 stars. It might be long but that's OK it's interesting reading. One of those books you can't put down. I rated it 5 stars.
