Study Tip #2:

Use Flash Cards to Study
A large part of the studying process in college is memorization. "Cramming" is the act of studying all night long for a test that is on the following day. The problem with cramming is that you forget most of the information a day after the test. This won't benefit you when it comes time to take the cumulative final exam that covers all of the chapters you have learned so far.

Instead of cramming, take the time to write key words, dates, and names on index cards to study with. Write the concept on one side and the importance of it on the other. You can study with them before and after class as well as when you have spare time.
