This is a great book for field events track coaches. It covers most events in youth Track and Field, and the fundamentals needed to perform at a higher level.

This book has track field event drills to build strength, speed, coordination, agility, balance and skills for the different field events. It covers some basic strategies and tactics for competing in these events. It has training games to have fun while improving "core training" for the skills needed for the different events. All these are numbered for easy reference between coaches. It has some sample practice schedules to help coaches get started.

Excerpt

"Many youth Track & Field coaches have asked me about easily identified drills they can use. This book is intended to be a supplemental book to my "Learn'n More About Track & Field" book. It is orientated more towards team coaches on youth teams rather than parents at home teaching fundamentals."
