Every one of us thinks about growing old. For some this is a far off concept, while for others aging is occurring right now or in the not-so-distant future. Without a doubt, the average increase in life expectancy and in marriage breakup will force many more individuals, families, and friends to deal with the psychological factors of aging -- aging in families, aging in marriages, aging alone, aging in a world where aging is not well understood.
