A coming of age novel based upon true events.
"Down A Road I've Never Been" is a coming of age novel based upon actual events that tests the loyalities of friendship and love. Ryc Lewis tries to live up to his father's demands while, at the same time, questioning them. It looks at all the challenges a "boy-becoming-a-mam" deals with while falling in love and wanting to move forward with his romance, but still holding out for his musical-related dreams - riding the edge all the way. Ryc proceeds on thr same track until he is smacked in the face with a reality he had not expected. One that changes the way he looks at love and the rest of his life.
