A color image of Holt on the cross occupied the top half of the document. Below that to the left was a cartoon image of a fat, bearded man in drag. A dialogue balloon contained the typed words, "Reveal Bobby's grave and confess, or there will be more of these." The cartoon figure pointed to the bottom right of the sheet, where there was a color photo of a grave, complete with wooden cross, inverted. Exciting stories of intrigue, mystery and adventure!
How can anyone resist a story titled The Wild Trhobbing Dark? I enjoyed every story in this anthology from Houston's Final Twist writing group , but my favorites today are Digging for the Truth and Meeting Miss Bettie. Digging for the truth provides social commentary in an edge-of-your-seat story where the heroes must beat the clock to save innocent victims. Do they succeed? You'll have to read it to find out. Meeting Miss Bettie introduces the loveable Miss Sarah Jane recounting a family trip to Galveston when she was six years old and she met a most unusual hostess. Real or imagined?

For the record, I had different favorites yesterday and will probably change my mind again tomorrow. IMHO, this is the best anthology yet from The Final Twist writers.
