A very good start for new author L.C. Martin. A highly intricate web weaves as the story builds and numerous lives are thrown together into a charged climax. A very Soprano-esque flavored story, Destiny will not disappoint. Multiple character stories unfold as the reader wonders, where does this fall in the story, only to be shocked by the eventual conclusion. Even better is the open ending for the possibility of more stories to follow. Spanning from the streets of New York to the tropical beaches of Miami, Destiny will take the reader on a wondrous journey of love and danger. A recommended read for those who like a bit of mob intrigue with their romance.

This romantic suspense will thrill readers because L.C. Martin takes the time to enable the audience to understand, appreciate, and care about her key cast members including secondary characters. The lead protagonists will delight sub-genre fans as they struggle with relationships (not just romantic ones). The story picks up speed and never slows down until the climax.

This book flowed nicely and gripped me from the very first page. The action
is compelling, the characters are believable, and the romance will make your heart flutter. I had a hard time putting it down, I was so intent on finding out what happened next.
