The Gasp is the story of a thirteen-year-old Hina and her father. After her mother's death, Hina and her father are left alone in the world with no one but themselves. A huge cloud covers their head, because Hina's mother had been murdered...killed in cold blood.

Hina was a small child when her mother was killed but from the moment onwards, she was supposed to take care of herself and her father. But then, things began to get wrong again and it wasn't just about living...It was about escaping death to live.
