David grew up without his parents in his life and felt like a reject. The ones who were supposed to be in his life did not want him. Especially when David knew that his parents were alive, it took a toll on David, and he became resentful. David was bitter, and his behavior was unacceptable. After he enlisted and served in the army became a changed man starting his life over and wanting to have a family of his own. Right in the midst of his doing so, suddenly, his life took an unexpected turn, and now he found himself running for his life just by being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Consequently, because of David's reputation growing up in his neighborhood, he ended up on the most wanted criminal list because he ran from a crime scene.
Is David innocent or a murderer? This is a question the community of Gabon sought an answer to after the police found multiple people executed in a popular restaurant in town.
David returned to his hometown Gabon, Florida after he was dishonorably discharged from the army. He was raised by his grandmother who passed away a few years ago. There isn’t much information about his biological parents who have been absent in his life. To some of the locals, his return was a bittersweet memory. David experienced a lot of bullying and trauma in his young life. After the death of D-Dog a.k.a Daniel, David was left traumatized after a man stabbed Daniel multiple times at the park where he died in David’s arms.
Although David’s return made some of the locals uneasy, his old buddies had nothing but great things to say about him. He came back a changed man his friends claimed. He became engaged to Sarah, his old high school flame. Cole who hired him as his assistant said David needed extra money for his upcoming wedding to his fiance Sarah. He was working part-time at the restaurant where he was last seen fleeing after the murder. Something that left his soon-to-be wife bewildered that he is on the most-wanted list for murder. Where is David? Why has he not come up to tell his side of the story?

This young author does a great job of creating a story that just captivates the reader. Good read. Would recommend to anyone looking for something different and entertaining.

A fictional coming of age story of a boy becoming a man under very difficult circumstances. Dave is the result of an unplanned pregnancy and eventual abandonment by both biological parents to the care of his grandmother. Using Dave's life as a backdrop the author includes sound practical advice for teens and parents about the process and progress of a child's growth and development. Dave's unresolved anger and deep wounded hurt results in behavior that is clearly not in his best interest. I enjoyed this story of a young man running from his past as a victim into a possible successful future of his own choosing in which he eventually learns from the mistakes and errors in judgement of his self and others.
