Have you rejected 'religion?' Or are you a Christian with doubts? This book is for you. It looks at what went wrong, and what Jesus really taught. 'The Truth shall set you free!'
This short book explores the reasons why Christianity has fallen so low in public esteem in the modern world, and supplies the antidote. It is not written in theological jargon, and does not argue from a set of arcane, selected Bible verses. It does, though, present a fully scriptural description and prescription, that should be accessible to any reader.
The author demonstrates that the huge problem with the 'Church' since shortly after the time of Jesus is that it never relinquished its grasp on the Ten Commandments. And that error is a consequence of failing to grasp the essence of the New Testament (Covenant) and exactly what makes it 'new.'

As the Bible ‘folds’ along the fault line of Christ’s death, there is a complete transformation. The hints found in Genesis find fulfillment; the Old Testament (lit. ‘covenant’) is discarded and superseded entirely by the New. A story about one family (the children of Israel) becomes the story of all mankind. The agreement God made with them is replaced by a totally new paradigm available to all. The terms and conditions of the old covenant are obsolete and irrelevant, replaced by new, simple yet far-reaching ones. The concrete object lessons for ‘spiritual amateurs’ are transformed to a spiritual awareness or quickening of the soul. That is how “All things are made new”.
