Although “He She Black Widow” is a work of fiction, the story is drawn from the episodes of my life. So it is intertwined with a touch of truth.
The story takes place in modern day Detroit Michigan, where young black boys are turning up dead at an alarming rate; five in the last eight months, and all of them have one thing in common…all of them died of heart attacks.
At one end of the stick is Police Captain James Hawkins whom is at his wits end trying to solve the cases, while at the other end is Jasper, leader of the most powerful street gang in Detroit, The Diablos. The murders are drying up to the revenues of his gang’s drug business, and that, he can’t tolerate. The truth behind these murders will take you on a rollercoaster ride of emotions, and erupt into a volcanic explosion of death and deceit.

"I hear what you be saying, but it's hard, man. Jimmy was my big brother, now with him gone, what am I going to do? I know he be a gang member and all, but nobody knowed him like I did. He was cool; he looked out for me. He told me over and over that he didn't want me to be in no gang and for me to stay away from dope."
At that point, Damon’s voice started to tremble and he broke into sobs.
"Somebody don’ killed my brother and they gotta pay, man it just ain't right. If I see that bitch again, I'm going to kill her ass ‘cause I know she did it."
The words coming out of Damon's mouth were like an ice-cold knife going through Father Stevens' chest. With a frantic urgency, he asked, "What did you say? What's this about a woman? What woman?"
At the excited sound of Father Stevens's voice, Damon's sobs subsided as he looked up with bewilderment at Father Stevens, who was now standing over him.
"The woman that was in the car with him when he came over to the house! It was the night befo’ he got killed. I was next door sitting on the step with L’il Hammer when he came. I knowed he would kick my butt fo’ being with L’il Hammer cause he done told me to stay away from him, so when I saw him I hid behind the porch so he couldn't see me. My mama wasn't home so he didn't stay, but when the car door opened I could see a woman in the car."
"Why do you think she had something to do with Jimmy's death? She could have been anyone."
"Naw, she had something to do with it, I know she did."
