This book walks you through my life from the time I was a little girl on up into my young adult years, and yes some things was painful for me when i started to write but on the inside I knew I had a story to tell.

Chapter 1
Look through my eyes, they will tell you a story about the person within me. You only see an outer shell of the person standing before you. The hair, shoes, clothes, makeup, and etc. They won’t tell you anything at all. Why, you say? They are all man-make materials. They cannot talk. They don’t have a mind of their own. Besides, they aren’t living and breathing for the Lord as we stand here. I am someone who has been through the up’s and down’s of life and someone that has overcome a lot of things with the help of the Lord Jesus Christ.
And you say, “How did I get here and how did I overcome some of these things?” Well, let me tell you. In the Bible in Revelations 1:8, the Lord says:
“I am the Alpha and Omega the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord which is and which was and which is to come, The Almighty.”
What this means is that He knows our coming and our going. He knows the beginning and the ending to all of our problems. I can say this to you and I want you to know that the negative experiences from our past are products of Satan himself. The things that are in our path or are in front of us and the place where God wants to take us is a product of Jesus.
But did you know that our paths are led by the Lord? You can find this by reading Proverbs 3:6:
“In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”
But is up to you to allow the Lord to direct your path. Come take a walk with me. We are going to look at snapshots of my past and my present life.
At one point in my childhood, I recall that one of my stepfather’s friends came in while my siblings and I were playing. He asked us if we wanted to play a game with him. I thought it was a game he brought over or something, but it was a game he made up - hide and seek. He told my brother and sister to go hide and count to ten. They did. He told me to stay and that they were going to find me, but something didn’t seem right to me. It started to turn my insides up side down.
He molested me. I was so afraid I wanted to cry out and yell for help. After these terrible things happened to me, I was left hurt, unwanted, lost, so afraid, unloved. A feeling of low self-esteem had set in. I felt ashamed, sorrowful, and worthless. Mentally, I felt like I was nothing but dirt and very mixed up about this whole thing. I thought to myself, “All of this was part of a plan that the devil intended to use to distract me from what God planned for me. He knew what God had called me to do and he despised that. Nevertheless, in the end God said, “ He[Jesus and I in Him] will get the victory in the end.”
ks about what His promises are for us. I discovered that everything we go through in life is not to hurt us, but to help us. God uses our experiences to help mold and shape us and to build us up into the people He called us to be. Do you know that greatness lives on the inside of you and that within you God has promises for you? You can find them by reading about His promises in the Bible.
In the New King James Version, it states His promise as follows:
Mark 11:24:
Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
What this scripture is saying that whatever you hope for or long for within your heart ye shall receive it, but you must believe for yourself that God will grant your hearts desire. And sometime we tend not to believe and we do not get what we long for or hope for. Put it like this as if you was all mixed up in some sort of battle within you or all around you, then you must pray and believe that God himself can bring you out, why because this is a desire and a longing in your soul that you want to be free from this hell within and all around. You and you alone no one can do this for you must believe that you are coming out and That God will grant you your hearts desires.God also tal
