Black London cabs funneled into their designated lane, with minicab vans and private vehicles clogging the approach. Traffic control officers waved the steady stream forward disallowing any attempt to linger at the curb. Aubrey looked to her wristwatch. Six thirty. He should have been here by now. A fortnight in Old London Town wouldn't be long enough if they were, as she sensed, meant to be. Scanning the crowd of arriving passengers, she caught a glimpse of a man in charcoal gray calf length woolen coat. Jet-black wavy hair layered nearly to the shoulder, cream scarf tucked in at the lapels. It must be…but he was still a city block's distance down the sidewalk. He paused and looked in her direction hesitating as though in like evaluation. Pace quickening, he made his way towards her, a smile spreading across his face. She grasped the handgrip of her bag and took a few tentative steps forward. Yes…tall, slim, broad of stature, it had to be. Releasing her luggage, she forgot herself for the moment and rushed forward. Twenty yards away from him a streak of black, a rain coated figure bolted into the scene. Awareness made all the more narrow by her concentration on Benn, she didn't have time to blink before she saw him pushed-- no forced into the open door of a waiting cab. And then he was gone. The cab lurching from its temporary stop at the front of the queue, weaving around its neighbors with alacrity and skill, the door drawn shut almost the second it accelerated. "Wait!" The word escaped her lips in astounded reaction. Wait? He'd obviously not gotten into that cab of his own accord. Shit….think. Arm shooting up in demand, Aubrey hailed the next black marauder to her side. "Follow that cab!" she shouted to the driver as she swung open the back door and leapt in.

Before You Say Goodbye is the story of Benn Morrison an Australian internet entrepreneur and mystery writer Aubrey Crawford who after meeting online by pure chance and corresponding for the past six months. They feel that they are perfect for each other and decide to finally meet each other in person. Both decided to fly across the country to meet up in London but unfortunately before they really meet Benn is kidnapped from the airport and It Is up to Aubrey to find out what is going on and find Benn before it's too late.

Before You Say Goodbye is an excellent mix of a nice, sweet romance with an intriguing story of adventure and action that will keep you guessing until the very end. Christine London does an excellent job of portraying the characters of Benn and Aubrey. I enjoyed how she balanced their differences but also how they complement each other. The only problem that I found with the story was that I felt it was too short. If had been longer it would have given a better opportunity to expand and develop the already interesting story and characters.

If you're looking for a good quick romance that also has a lot of action and intrigue this is a book you won't want to miss.

Aubrey Crawford writes mystery fiction and loves a good real life mystery. Benn Morrison is a webmaster for a singles site who is enamored of her. They meet through MySpace and find out that sometimes goodbye is the hardest when they hardly have a hello. Then again, absence does make the heart grow fonder, so Before You Say Goodbye…

I enjoyed Ms. London’s novel. She uses a unique approach and introduces the reader to the concept of Rendition, although some of the meaning gets lost in the complexity of the concept. Even so, this never bogged down the story, but rather made it much more interesting. Readers can relate to the differences in ages. Who doesn’t love a younger man interested in a slightly older woman? Kudos to Ms. London for her use of acceptance in a relationship. We all want to be accepted for who we are and want to share our love with our perfect partner, even if the relationship isn’t perfect.

If you’re in the mood for a fast-paced story with lots of twists and turns and a healthy does of steamy lovin’, then look no further than Before You Say Goodbye: London. It’ll warm your heart. I give this novel 4 ½ cherries.
