Charming characters, lively dialogue, and smooth narrative combine against a vivid Texas backdrop and
create a warm, tender love story The hard, almost bitter Jonathan shows every sign of not caving in to
his heart's desires, leaving the reader waiting for him to make the first move. Kara's headstrong Irish
natureis a supreme match for Jonathan's obstinate behavior. The two have minor clashes that build into a
fiery passion. THE TEXAN'S DREAM is by far one of Ms. Thomas's best stories. I am thrilled to have
spent an afternoon drifting away in Texas during the late 1800's.
