My life has amazed me. I did not know I was not living in
reality either in my growing up or in my teaching years. It took a
terrifying experience so profound to get my attention that I
desperately prayed for help because I wanted to live. My life
began a new path in faith rather than survival. Little did I know
this new focus would lead me to find reality, deep inside and
unconditional love in myself, and in the universal energy of love.
I lived as Cinderella most of my life, wanting to be treated
fairly and kindly. I ignorantly and blindly served others. The
advice from authority and experts was not healthy or productive,
as my hell increased. My life going to church was not the answer.
Seeking medical doctors and psychiatrists did not help,
ultimately. By forgiving the past, I give up my servitude to my
ego. Moving into a daily consciousness with my Creator permits
me to grow beyond the appearances into the meaning of life.

Don't let the unassuming and gentle cover of this book lull you into thinking it doesn't pack a wallop! It DOES. Rarely does any human traverse an arc of growth as profound as this author in one short life time! Marilyn Redmond started life in a "superficially perfect" but secretly treacherous home. Brilliant and pretty, and determined to be a perfect little girl, with straight A's, musical mastery, poise and grace...she covered the scars for years.
