Garrett Anderson had grown up under the cloud of his great-grandfather's scandal that had caused the Anderson family to lose their family seat at Coldstone. When Garrett receives an invitation to Coldstone he sees this as his best chance to regain what was rightfully his.
Together Erika and Garrett must follow the clues to not only the modern day mystery but also an ancient one that has been buried at Coldstone for centuries. Will they find all the clues in time? Excerpt
Garrett followed the butler into the dark room and immediately felt a strange energy in the house. If he was a sentimental man, he would think the house was welcoming an Anderson home once again. Garrett knew the layout of the original part of the house but he could tell when he had arrived that the manor house had been added on to. He would have to find time when no one was around so that he could investigate the new parts. For now, as he followed Jamison to what he guessed was going to be his living quarters for the week, he studied the tapestry and other defining features that could hide possible hidden entrances.
When Jamison suddenly stopped before a door, Garrett nearly ran into him. “This will be your room for the week, my lord,” Jamison said ignoring the fact that Garrett had almost collided with him.
Garrett walked into his room and found that although it was rather gothic in appearance it was spacious with a large four poster bed in the middle of the room. A bell pull was conveniently located next to it and the dressing room through an open door in the room also proved to be large enough to accommodate him.
“Thank you Jamison, this room will suit me perfectly,” Garrett said dismissing the dismal butler.
He wanted to change into some dry clothes and start exploring Coldstone Manor as quickly as possible. After he had changed, he began exploring his room. The tapestry that hung on the bedroom walls were the same dark red color as the rest of the manor but in one area he noticed that the tapestry swayed in a gentle breeze. Believing there was a hidden opening on the wall, he walked forward. Slowly he pulled the tapestry away from the wall and was excited to see that there was another door hidden behind it.
Reaching for the handle, he pulled the door open and was surprised when it made no sound at being opened unlike the door leading into the manor. On the other side of the door was another tapestry that concealed the door from the other room. When he pulled back the fabric, he thought he might have been staring at one of the manor’s many ghosts he had read about. The vision in white sat at a desk intently writing. Her pale red hair cascaded down her back reaching far past her slim waistline.
He must have made a noise because the vision suddenly looked up and at the sight of him let out a terrified scream.

You'll think you know what's coming, and then you'll be completely blind sighted by the next suprise. As well as exciting mystery, you can find wonderful romance just oozing from the pages. Marsha Coles has a talent that few have. She is able to hook you from the very first page and keep you intrigued and guessing through the entire book. Her characters leap off the page, take your hand, and pull you right into their world. The Mystery Of Coldstone Manor is a fantastic read and I would recommend it to all who love a great mystery.
