I love this life of comfort and joy.
People take care of me, and I hear a lot of " that's a good boy".
They don't know I'm taking advantage of their kindness.
I get fed, clothed and pampered into blindness.
Occasionally, I get a request for me to sing.
Only if you pamper me a little more and that bell you do not ring!
I can see why my friends fall prey to life. There are no headaches, pains, worries or even strife.
I wonder what would happen I flew away?
Would they miss me? Would they cry, or just go about their day?
I finally mustered up the courage to learn to fly.
