I knew he was having a hard time with this situation. But, at this moment there was nothing else I could do for him. Just earlier this morning we checked into the Airport Renaissance, located in the heart of Atlanta’s finest—College Park. It wasn’t anything special, just enough to get the transaction completed.
“OK, let’s run down the plan,” Max suggested. “Alright.” I found myself saying as I kept on talkin’…“Chantal told me that the two dudes would be here tomorrow at sometime around noon.”
Max continued on with his understanding of the plan: “Now, we’re straight on the amount?” he asked, while I watched his shiny, diamond-linked bracelet do its dance up and down his wrist.
