Two crowds surrounded the building, one for the Defendant, the other for the Prosecutor. As he walked into the courthouse, the anger, the hatred and the zeal of the two crowds created an atmospheric cloud. The cloud was so thick; he could not determine which side, was more intense. The courtroom was already beginning to fill up. Cameras were everywhere. The line waiting to get inside was beginning to circle the building. People were yelling from every direction, but he could not make out what was being said. The voices got lost in the sea of noises.
As he made his way to his assigned spot, he kept hearing the words swimming around in his head. He shook them off before taking his seat. With pen and paper out and the tape recorder ready, Maleakh takes his seat. Feeling like a child in a candy store, he cannot believe his excitement. The adrenalin rush almost knocked him out of his seat. Trying hard to compose himself, he brings out the neutral reporter inside of him and takes control of his thoughts. He begins writing the introduction to his pending article:

The church vs. the condition of the world. This is a case that would probably take a lifetime to solve if humanity were in charge. Yet, Alston's book Headline News, there is no better way to begin such a case than in the courtroom. The Judge, prosecutor and defense all play different but significant when it comes to defining the state of humankind. Maleakh, a reporter for the Headline news, gives you a first look of the dichotomy of such a case and its parallels to Maleak's life.
The liveliness of the characters and the witnesses presented in this court case are unforgettable as Alston's brings the spiritual into a physical reality for many to relate. Other than the few graphic scenes presented in this book, it a page turnover that would not let you look at a courtroom as the same way again.
