Careful enough not to ruin it for anyone, this was the most enjoyable read I've had in a long long time.

I can't remember any other time that I read three chapters of a book and then dedicated a day (two days later) to sit down and read the rest of the entire book. I finished reading the book at 10:30PM exhausted and so ready for bed I climbed between the sheets then lay there awake still living in the story until I fel asleep around 1AM.

I really hope they make a movie out of it. This is going to be a suspence thriller that girls are going to drag their man to only to here him on the phone in the car telling his boys they've got to go see it. Oh and this imaginary guy and his imaginary girlfriend are going to have some incredible sex when they get home (if not in the car in the movie theater parking lot).

First of all, I love this book and I can not wait to read Prone. There were two big life lessons that I gathered from this book. The two that stood out the most may be clique to some but too true in life.
The first lesson that was relevant, is that it usually takes great tragedy for us to realize and appreciate great joy that we may already have in our lives.
The other lesson that some may forget is that history will repeat itself if we don't learn from our prior mistakes. Many times the things that seem like a burden just may need to be buried. We allow certain things in our life that seems like pleasure for the moment but in the full circle of it causes more pain than pleasure. I believe that Maya Angelou said it best, "If someone shows you who they are, believe them".
This book is perfect for making us realize how love stoned we can be at times, and how we need to just give ourselves some "Me Time" and rehab from our own stupidity. Sometimes sitting alone in the dark can bring everything to light, as "Everybody's Girl" learns.
