Good storytelling
The writing here is so sensory and palpable that it will be hard to believe that you're not in the characters' environment with them; almost as if you unknowingly got into a time machine, and now reside in the time the characters inhabit, literally following them along on their travels. My only real qualm is the limited amount of time his second wife had to live, but I guess that's why its called Wee Light, and is a prequel. I simply just loved her character so much. Her and Graham seemed very much like a once in a lifetime relationship, and I'd love to see more of their interactions because of this story. Very sweet and passionate romance, great description, and a great capability in writing from this author.

This book made me want to read the whole story. It was beautifully written, with colorful phrasing, and full of action.

enjoyed it
This is a very quick read that I enjoyed but wish it was longer a longer story to fill in the blanks left. Will be reading more of this author's longer work.
