These are annual Christmas letters that have been written to family and friends from 1981 through 2010 from Indianapolis, Indiana. In some ways they are traditional. In other ways they are unusual.
This book is a collection of letters that were sent to family and friends every Christmas Season for the past 29 years (1981 - 2010). This was before a computer was used (that saved everything). Letters were type written and duplicated on a spirit duplicator or later photo copied, and even in the early years typed on a stencil and "run-off" on an old A. B. Dick mimeograph machine (but those letters have been lost). Please don't bring back the old days!

Some people just prefer a card and not the latest gallbladder surgery information, but along with the good is the not-so-good. After all, you don't have to read it! Just be thankful that you were thought of and were wished a Merry Christmas! That is the essence of the greeting: Merry (celebrate) Christmas (the birth of Jesus Christ).
