This section will deal with the occult aspects of Wicca. For those who don’t know,
the occult simply means “the unseen”. For example, the astral plane is unseen by the human eye.
Yet it is possible to see it if your third eye is open. Clairvoyants can see the astral plane, and
even read auras. Your third eye is located between your eyebrows. It’s said to be the remnant
a third astral “eye” possessed by our earliest ancestors. This enabled them to see what was going
on in astral plane, while their two physical eyes viewed the material world. Over time, as people
became more and more involved with their physical lives, this ability deteriorated. The exercises
in the meditation/visualization chapter will help to slowly awaken this ability.
One thing that can be seen astrally, but not with the physical eye, is the AURA. Your
aura is an energy field that surrounds your body. When seen, on a basic level, it contains a blend
of colors that can reveal much about your personality, your mood, and even your health. Your
aura can be strengthened and even expanded by techniques like the Tower of Light.
