This tiny book is packed with a multitude of descriptive and evocative works that will have a person meditating on the descriptions and, for this reader, a realization that I enjoy the small written work of poems.
The writing is from a place of honesty and what seems like unlimited creativity. This author has a grace in her writing that makes each poem garner a different reaction from the reader.
My personal goal is to read one poem a day until I finish the book again. I want to take the time to examine each work piece by piece. Timourian's use and flow of the words has me wanting to examine the use of rhythm in each and maybe glimpse the process used to write.
I am thrilled to add this book to my personal library which has now reached the minuscule number of four volumes of poetry. Also I am gifting a book to my sister for her wedding which I know as her and her fiance are avid readers--they will enjoy.
A further collection of poems, many from years in the Middle East, but also the California San Francisco and Central Coast areas (Santa Cruz, Carmel, Big Sur, Berkeley, etc.).
