Captain Scott O’Grady, U.S. Air Force F-16C fighter pilot, was shot down by a Bosnian Serb surface-to-air missile while enforcing a NATO No-Fly zone on June 2, 1995. He successfully evaded capture until being rescued by U.S. Marines on June 8. The Ejection & Evasion: O’Grady ejected from his exploding aircraft at 26,000 feet and parachuted safely into a forest. For nearly six days, he evaded trigger-happy paramilitary patrols by hiding in the woods, surviving on rainwater, leaves, grass, and ants.
The Rescue Mission: Utilizing a small window of opportunity, a massive U.S. military package was deployed from the Adriatic Sea. U.S. Marines from the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit (aboard heavy-helicopter squadron HMH-464) flew into hostile territory on two CH-53E Super Stallion helicopters, covered by AH-1W Super Cobra gunships. The Dramatic Extraction: O'Grady sprinted out of the woods into the open with his 9mm pistol drawn. The rescue team took heavy small-arms and missile fire during the operation, but successfully extracted him and safely brought him back to the USS Kearsarge ants.
This book is a fictional account of the rescue of BASHER 52 written by Tireur Isolé, 3e REP, French Foreign Legion.
Excerpt
Our 2e REP team had already been on the ground for forty-eight hours, conducting a covert deniable reconnaissance mission. We wore sterile uniforms—no name tags, no regimental patches—monitoring Serb heavy artillery positions violating the UN exclusion zone around the capital.
I polished the optical sight of my FAMAS [i.e., the standard 5.56mm bullpup assault rifle of the French military, known as 'The Trumpet'], my mind drifting to Marco. His cavalry unit, the 1er REC, was supposed to be stationed far to the south, but the lines were blurring. At midnight, the sky to the north west lit up with a faint, silent flash. A streak of fire arched across the clouds toward Mrkonjić Grad.
The chess game had ended, and our mission was about to turn upside down.

Your writing has a very distinct atmosphere. It made me wonder if there's a particular book, movie, game, or even a piece of music that influenced this story while you were writing it.

Hi
What genre do you enjoy writing the most?🥰btw I analyzed your work, and I think it has a very unique and engaging storytelling style. The way you present your ideas and emotions really stands out.
I have taken pride in writing this novel as so many people have the wrong impression on bikers because they dress in leather clothing which is to protect themselves in case of an accident. The majority of bikers are known Policemen, Firemen, Doctors,
