She gives us characters that go through the trials of day-to-day life and have to confront not only their own limitations but the consequences of their actions.
Wright gives us Willa: a woman who is making a name for herself and providing for those she loves, but at what cost to her safety and happiness. In her life is Damon, a man that all guys can rally around because he loves himself some Willa and wants to see her happy---but with him.
The dialogue and exchanges between them and the other characters is real, as are the situations that the author creates for them all. In the end, will Willa be able to live her life with someone who care for her or will she continue to risk everything for the temporary rewards.
