Tracy Moore spent most of her adult life moving from one man to the other. Some were self-centered, others abusive.
Desire’s of the Heart is a fiction that depicts the lives of several individuals and shows you how lives can be affected and destroyed because of selfish decisions.
We need to look deep into our hearts and think before we make certain choices that will change our lives forever.
Excerpt
It is a cold wintery day and as I awaken, I see snow gently falling through the textured window.
To the right of me is an unusual looking telephone to the left a Chicago Newspaper. The room itself is an eerie off white. I ask myself what happened. Where am I? How did I get here? I try to run and feel myself wanting to cry because I cannot move.
Just then there was a knock on the door and a man came in asking me how I was doing today. I saw him but could not speak. He pulled up a chair, put on a pair of reading glasses and began to read to me from his black book. My mind was elsewhere so I did not understand exactly what he was saying but as he continued to read, it all started to slowly come back to me, the love, betrayal and lies.
The more I watched him, the more I began to question myself and ask, how did I let my life get to this point and what could I have done differently to change the situation. My name is Tracy Moore and this is my story.
