This book is very informative, with a look behind the scene by a person who has been there. I believe Dr. Brady's intent is to simply inform the readers that America's criminal justice system may be one of the best systems in the world, but has many flaws. His comments about how the courts operates "behind" the scene should be a wake up call to many citizens. Stacked decks, shortcuts, shady deals, and corrupt politians is a fact in the American justice system!
