It's a very sweet story with great illustrations throughout.

After the story, photos of different types of Gibbons and educational information on them are given. You also learn that "Lek" created an Elephant Nature park in the 1990s. Pictures of Lek and her elephant friends are also provided.

This is a great book for any child who loves animals and has a desire to help them.

Luckily, this series will be continuing with "Mubu and the Ghosts & the Tiger!"

An amazing read. Mubu is 6 years old in this book and helps her grandfather as his little animal doctor. He brings home a baby Gibbon that has an injury to her hand. Mubu takes care of her and like most children, when it is time for the Gibbon to go back to her home in the forest, Mubu was upset. A wonderful story to teach children the importance of taking care of animals/pets. I like the fact that at the of the book they show pictures of Gibbons and give more information about them. My kids enjoyed learning about the different types of Gibbons and the pictures.

MUBU & MU-MU THE LITTLE ANIMAL DOCTOR by Peter Alexander. It is well written. The illustrations are wonderful. My grandchildren enjoyed this funny, exciting story of Muby. They are ages 6 and 9 are very into reading and throught the story was an adventure into the Jungle and enjoyed the animal rescue.
