I just met this author at a book signing last week. I bought a couple of his books, including Unanswered Questions from the Sunday News. I read this one first and it woke me up.
I have been such a sucker to buying into (and without challenging) the theory of evolution. Key word: theory. When a theory drags on for decades, know that something us scientifically wrong. Theories must turn into law, or be discarded.
Great book. If you want to challenge your core beliefs, this is a fun way to do it.

UNANSWERED QUESTIONS IN THE SUNDAY NEWS
Homeschoolers need books that entertain, and the kids finished this book before we had it one week. They love the two page lesson format. Just read two pages and you can learn about science, philosophy, math, history, physics, social sciences or any number of subjects.
Put all these lessons together, and you have a book to teach journalism. Writing is an important skill for college bound teens. The most important lesson to be learned from this book is pragmatic thinking. The teacher is not supposed to impose their conclusions on the students. The students are supposed to draw their own conclusions, independent of someone else.
Best of all, the students are supposed to write short articles from both perspectives--pro and con. As a parent, I love this book. If I didn't have any kids, I would enjoy reading it myself. Mostly because I had never considered any of these subjects before reading this book. Lessons such as, what is God's wife's name? Who would have thunk!

This is a crazy little book. It is composed of two page articles that are to be shared with a class. But you are not to tell the students what conclusion should be reached. They must make their own decision. My favorite chapter is where the author presents an algebraic equation that seems to prove Noah's Flood is the only logical explanation for today's population. I still keep that algebraic folded up in my wallet, in case someone challenges me on the accuracy of the Bible. Draw your own conclusions.

Short but powerful book. Serious subjects. Teens should read last two chapters about suicide. Very meaningful information.

Erudite Author and Journalist, Michael Ben Zehabe encourages from the very beginning ~ “Truth Favors the Fearless!” I do love this quote, and throughout the articles that comprise the first half of the book, Mr. Ben Zehabe takes us on a questioning journey ~ where we are guided to hold up fixed “cultural codes” of diverse religions, science, and the boundless heart of humanity next to the golden mirror of Truth itself, revealed in “Proof”.
