Growing up in Pacfic Northwest. Being a bipolar and a Vietnam Veteran.
Chilhood, boyhood growing up on a mini-farm in Bothell, WA. After dropping out of college I was drafted into the Army and the Army released me to the Navy. Spent two years, 1965-1967, in Vietnam Amphibious Force. Three yeasr back from Vietnam the Seattle VA Hospital miss-dignosed me as a paranoid schizophrenic. Six years later, 1976, I spent five months at American Lake VA Medical Center Tacoma, WA. Here I was dignosed as mani-depressive or now called bipolar disorder. It was at American Lake that God healed my mind with lithium. I have been on lithium for 36 years.
Later I would meet and marry my "angel" from Poland. Not only a beautful wife, but my personal physician as a Dr. of Internal Medicine.

THE BOY FROM BOTHELL * Bipolar * Vietnam Veteran is an intimate memoir of growing up in the Pacific Northwest, dropping out of college and drafted in Navy with 2 years in then Amphibious Navy floating in the Mekong Delta, Saigon River etc and three years back from the Navy siting in VA Psych Wards as a bipolar disorder.
