Finished the excerpt. A little wordy ("the less than fastidious aroma emanating from him")...the "Special Forces" aren't part of the Marine Corps. Would have liked to know sooner the man and woman are brother and sister. Not sure I'd like my sister straddling my lap while cutting my hair--or watching me get out of the shower, but that's just me. Curious as to what combat action/"suicide missions" this Marine had been involved with 15 years earlier (if this was copyrighted in 2002 that would be 1987--and we weren't shooting at many people then).
