The stupidity of her actions had plagued all night, she’d dozed here and there, but never for long. Her mind refused to stop as it searched for the solution, robbing her of sleep. With dawn slowly creeping into the guest room she’d run out of time. The engagement party would go on with or without Tyler.
“‘She’s his priority. Things won’t ever be the same,”’ his words were of a selfish child.
Giving up on any hope of rest, Jade angrily threw back the covers to head for the shower. What did he think would happen? Love meant caring enough to change everything for someone else. What a jackass! She stepped under the hot stream of water.
Last night she felt powerful when she’d stood up to him. Strong and assured one second…when his eyes filled with venom, she knew her sharp tongue had gone too far. Who cares! He deserved every word, the devil voiced.
Did she want him? No, she expected he’d quit being a jerk. If he’d held a grudge like Jackie believed, she expected he’d have the balls to voice things. His attitude made her madder than hell, so she’d argued with him. When that failed to change things, she gave into him, believing that was his true currency.

Having read Now What and And When (both by Wendy Proteau), I just couldn't wait for the third and last installment of this series to come out. Who Knew (And When), did not disappoint me in the least. It was everything I expected, and more. I am sad to see this series come to an end, but I am delighted that I had a chance to discover it. These are excellent stories filled with many twists and turns, with a main character who you won't be able to resist.
Jade Prency is back yet again, with even more on her plate than ever before. If you read the other two installments of this series, you will know about all the hardships Jade has had to overcome to get to the point where she is now. She has become successful, which is something that she's always dreamed of being. She's finally at the top of the world, when it all comes crashing down on her, yet again. She has finally gained the confidence that she was always lacking, and feels at peace with her life - finally. However, she quickly comes to realize that not everything is as clear cut as it appeared to be. She will be disappointed, yet again. However, the ending of this one is slightly different than the other two - and that's all I'm going to say.
I am so sad that this is the end of this wonderful series, but I am definitely going to keep me eyes out for more books by Proteau, because she has quickly become one of my favorite authors. I highly recommend this series.

I was really thrilled to see that the third volume of this trilogy was available – I’ve been waiting for a while as I was so keen to find out what was going to happen in Jade’s life. The character of Jade is what makes these book so amazing – she’s such a fully rounded person and her life has been a real challenge on many levels which draws much empathy from the reader. I love the life she’s built for herself as a successful writer with a dream home – all earned through hard work and determination and not without setback.
In volume 3 we meet old friends and new ones too but the book is different and it took me a while to get my head round it. Basically I think the author stood at the point where she could have taken the book either way and what she chose was tough but amazing because book 3 is grounded again in the reality of book 1. It takes you on the emotional roller-coaster ride of life along with Jade and you come out washed- out and a wreck, but totally enriched by the experience. For me the ability to do this is what makes this trilogy so, so good and Wendy Proteau way more than an author writing just an enjoyable read.
For me, these books are a must read and I really can’t wait for what Wendy Proteau writes next – but I’ll never forget Jade.

Wendy Proteau’s, “Who Knew (And When), is the final novel to the Jade Prency trilogy, which made me both excited and sad because this is a great series. Jade continues to be a delight to read about, her personality being a wonderful part of the book because she is witty and doesn’t lie down in the dirt and give up when life gets hard. She has finally achieved success, but it becomes obvious, as she has moved up in society and has gotten the chance to participate in things she didn’t think she had the confidence for, it seems like her world has been righted. As she goes through the people within her social realm (and without trying to give away too much information) and starts to learn that not everything is as it seems, whether it is the person or the situation. This was a great end to the trilogy and I do have to say that there the closing was perfectly executed.

Who Knew (And When) the final book in the Jade Prency series by Wendy Proteau. After having read And When and Now What I was ecstatic to get my hand on the third book in the series. I was happy and sad at the same time because I knew the story would be coming to end. The third in the series like the previous two books for it did not let me down in the least.
I fell in love with the character of Jade Prency in book one. I could relate to her. Jade had become a success despite numerous hardships. And she has grown confident and strong over the course of the series. But in this book we somethings are not as they would appear. I definitely don't want to do too much spoiling for the last book. I truly enjoyed reading all of these books. I read them in record time. It would be nice to see more from this author in the future.
