If you are considering buying this book for children, please do not hesitate to do so. It is simply informative and an endearing story for youngsters with beautiful illustrations. It aims to bring the plight of the Sun Bears to life and gain a child's interest, hopefully the start of their understanding of endangered species, in a truly delightful way. My granddaughter Mollie 7 reads it to her sister Izzy 4 and they love it and Mollie tries to help Izzy understand. The information at the back of the book is a great addition. Highly recommended.

Our two year old grandson had it read to him and it sustained his interest. Being so young, the lovely illustrations held his attention.
A story for our time - animals are increasingly endangered and it is our grandson's generation who will be diminished if this is allowed to continue.
I am grateful that you are writing children's books about endangered species. Hopefully, it will help them get a head start in understanding our ecosystem and how important every species is.
The first children's book that I recall was I believe, Sambo. The rather racist book featured a black boy who observed a tiger running around a palm tree until it turned into syrup to put on the pancakes Sambo's mother made for breakfast. But in second grade, I read all of the Dr. Seuss books learning a bit about conservation in the process.
