The 3 pugs story is delightful, one I did not want to end when I came to the last page. The author weaves details into the story of the pugs adventures that are humorous and creative, while revealing a deep love of pugs and their antics. The story is a page turner to find out what those crazy pugs are up to next, playing bingo, flying to Belgium, driving the pug-mobile, starting a romantic relationship, the fun continues throughout. These pugs have a full life, filled with adventure cleverly painted in rich detail that put a smile on my face as I savored each page.
If you want to read a light-hearted book about pugs, but also feel love sprinkled throughout the story, this is a great choice. I’ll be reading this story many times, sharing it with other animal lovers.

I just finished reading "Three Pugs, Somewhere in Wisconsin" and loved reading it. It brought smiles to me, tears to me and kept me in suspense also. I have read several of Lela Anderson Stute's books and I feel as if I know these pugs personally. They have grown on me. This book in particular shows how important adoption is and how much love a person has to give when they adopt and vice versa, how much love the child has to give also. Ingah was so lonely and needed someone in her life and little Ohleh came along at the right time to fill her void and little Ohleh also needed Ingah. The second Ingah saw little Ohleh, her heart melted and the love was right there. This book is a must for those that are wanting to adopt but hesitant. The love from adoption is one of a kind. Like Ingah said, "she chose Ohleh". What can be better than that! Love for both her and Ohleh. They were both winners. Nothing better than the love that is brought through adoption. Great book, Lela.
