By this time, the reader will have realized that I, but not necessarily Kate, accept that there are woodland spirits, whether called Waldgeists, ghosts, or Gremlins, too many inexplicable events have occurred not to believe. Within a short time after we began using the property, I began to wonder what was causing the never-ending need for repairs, strange malfunctions of equipment, and even the unnatural noises we her in the night.
