One fascinating about literature is that it fuels our imagination and tasks our creative ability. And this book "Alabaster" is a book that displays from the book cover concept to the its eleven page chapter illustration and poetic presentation in prose and adventure into characters from the gospels of Mathew, Mark, Luke surrounding the woman who offered in extravaganza a gift of a jar of perfume to show gratitude, worth, honor and value, in reciprocation and anticipation of something more than the usual. Something spiritual.
Love was defined explicitly. Intimacy was defined in this story. And interestingly everyone finds his character in all of the illustration.
Its a good scintillating work. It will make a great gift.
