Twenty-five-year-old Constance Withers has dreams of being murdered. Night after night since a child the reoccurring nightmare haunts her. With a busy life after college she buries herself in work as the assistant manager in a Jewelry store and tries to avoid those dreadful dreams.
When an elderly dignified looking man offers her a part time job with his magazine company as a model, she takes him up on it and meets his handsome partner Andre, a sexy Frenchman who moves her interest further than just modeling.
Andre falls in love with her quickly and learns of her fear of the dreams. The older owner of the company is told of her dilemma and suggests a hypnotist. This brings Constance to the reality of these dreams and she becomes even more frightened to find the young woman in her dreams is her in a past life. The man in her dreams looks familiar to her now older employer Walter at the magazine company. She soon comes to believe it is he, but Andre doesn’t agree that his partner could be a killer.

His lips... warm like his hand. Connie felt fingers of excitement travel through her arm, down her back all the way to her spine. Unbelievable electrified tingles giving her an extraordinary return of passion that had been dormant for some time. What is it with this mass of muscle, she thought as her eyes met his? His smile so gentle lit up a torch inside her the likes of nothing she’d ever felt before. Even his sexy French accent threw her into a frenzy of sensual delight.
They walked to the entrance doors his eyes glued on her. She inched by him as he held the door open while she stepped outside. He followed her part way down the walkway. She saw a pleading look on his face—a look of want, a look of need. She held her hand to wave to him as she went slowly to her parked car.
The sensation he left her with lingered. His smile, French accent, and the way his full dark hair fell to one side, those gorgeous blue eyes printed an image in her mind she wouldn’t be able to forget. She could swear his eyes were smiling with the rest of his pleasant strong face. She drove away with a picture of him planted securely in her mind.
The extreme heat of summer continued to plaque the city. With the a/c on high, Connie drove the short distance to her apartment longing to get there so she could cool off under a soothing shower. So much to think about and now a great looking Frenchman clouded her thoughts. Not only did she figure she would not take the job and only went there out of curiosity, she had been sure of it, but now . . . she found herself thinking about it very seriously.

Jennifer Robins has given us the opportunity to explore the human mind and delve into our fragile psyche, to learn about past lives and how they impact us now. Whether you believe in this or not you will be captivated with Constance Withers story. She is haunted every night by a recurring nightmare that leaves her short of breath and covered in sweat. She is certain that she is really enduring everything that happens in her dream and it's hard for her to shake these feelings when she wakes. She has been haunted for many years with this same dream.
She is still trying to figure out what to do about things when life throws her a curveball. She is a manager at a jewelry store and enjoys this greatly until a handsome stranger offers her the opportunity to become a model part time for his company. She is excited but troubled at this thought. How can she do something new when she can't figure out what her dream mean? She goes to a lot of lengths to figure this out and even tries to embrace a chance at love. But can she really discover the identity of the woman in her nightmares before life imitates dreams?
The twists and turns that Constance endures makes this story an interesting read. Learning about Hypnosis and other ways to comb our memories is very fascinating.
Constance Withers is an unattached 25 year old working as a manager for a jewelry store. Connie is happy and mostly content until the rug is pulled out from under her and her world is rocked. After meeting someone that owns a magazine and likes her looks, she is offered a part-time modeling position. After careful thought, she decides to accept the position and the game changes. Connie meets the partner in the magazine/ photographer and after a whirlwind romance, falls in love, head over heels in love, with the sexy Frenchman.
Sounds great, but...Connie suffers from nightmares most every night. Working with a hypnotist referred by the magazine, Connie starts to begin to put the puzzle pieces together and to finally be free of the nightly dreams. And there, I will stop because I want you to read the book.
'Murder Me Twice' is an absolutely amazing love story. The romance is intense and grows with each passing chapter, but...the entire book surrounds Connie's nightmares. 'Murder Me Twice' is a wonderful mystery with many twists and turns. The reader will find themselves on the edge of their seats. Although I figured the mystery out early, it didn't matter, the story is that well written. I was intrigued trying to figure out how the mystery would be solved.
Jennifer Robins has an easy writing style that is very enjoyable. I will eagerly await reading more of her works. I cannot recommend this story high enough. Very well written, very highly entertaining! Check out 'Murder Me Twice' You won't regret it if you love a great mystery or romance.
