PART FIVE 

 SECOND COMING PROPHECIES

In the Second Coming Prophecies, you will be able to see that there’s a difference in the two events. The Second Coming and the Rapture. The Rapture Prophecies tell of being caught up to God, before the time of God’s wrath. The Second Coming Prophecies tell us that at the end of sorrows Christ will appear with great glory to judge the world. Those who have remained faithful till the end of the Great Tribulation will reign with Christ in His Millennium Kingdom. Those who take the mark of satan will be judged rightly and thrown into the lake of fire with the antichrist and the false prophet.

Let us go through the scriptures together and learn what will happen during the second coming of Jesus Christ. Jesus came the first time as an innocent babe in a manger. When Jesus appears the second time on this earth, He will slay the wicked with the sword of His mouth. Some may say that doesn’t sound like a loving God! The sword of His mouth is the Word of God. The wicked will not be able to stand when Jesus speaks God’s Word in their presence. The darkness of evil will not be able to live standing in the Light of the Living God.

Daniel C. 2 V. 44-45 - And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever. Forasmuch as thou sawest that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it brake in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God hath made to pass hereafter: and the dream is certain, and the interpretation thereof sure.

This prophecy tells us of the kingdom Christ will bring down with Him from heaven. The first verse states. (In the days of the kings) shall the God of heaven set up His Kingdom. These kings are appointed by the antichrist to rule over the earth. The antichrist will divide the earth into ten kingdoms and appoint ten kings to rule over the people. However, these ten kings will be puppets manipulated by the antichrist. The kingdoms of the world will be destroyed and the Kingdom of God will be set in their place. This was all revealed to Daniel, hundreds of years before the birth of Christ. The second coming of Jesus Christ will be on the earth. The Rapture of the believers will be in the air. Two separate events make up the second coming of Jesus Christ. Which event do you want to be a part of? Will you meet the Lord in the air and come with Jesus when He sets up His Kingdom? Or, will you suffer the tribulations and die at the hands of the antichrist? Easy choice, meet the Lord in the air!

Daniel C.7 V. 9 to 14
9. I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and the wheels as burning fire.
10. A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him; thousand and thousands ministered unto him, and ten thousand times ten thousands stood before him: the judgment was set, and the books were opened.
11. I beheld then because of the voice of the great words which the horn spake: I beheld even till the beast was slain, and his body destroyed and given to the burning flame.
12. As concerning the rest of the beasts, they had their head their dominion taken away: but their lives were prolonged for a season a time.
13. I saw in the night vision, and behold, one like the son of man came with the clouds of heaven and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought them near before him.
14. And there was given him dominion, and glory and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages should serve him; his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which will not be destroyed.

The Eternal God takes his seat on the throne, his court is seated and the books are opened. Now millions stand before the throne to be judged. This will happen after the RAPTURE, after the Tribulation and the Great Tribulation. Dominion is given to Christ over all that is on earth, above and below the earth. The thousands and thousands, who minister unto Him, I believe they are those who were caught up in the Rapture. The ten thousand times ten thousands who stood before the throne to be judged are on one side the Tribulation Saints. Those who resist the antichrist and remain faithful to Christ. On the other side are the ones who took the mark of the beast. The elect, are the 144,000 witnesses from the twelve tribes of Israel, written about in Revelation 7:3-8. Where will you be in that lineup? Only two places are actually available. With Christ or without Christ!

Daniel C. 12 V. 1 to 3
1. And at that time shall Mi-cha-el stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.
2. And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.
3. And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.

This is much different from what is written in Thessalonians, where it says that the dead in Christ shall rise first and we will meet in the air. That is the RAPTURE. This passage however foretells that after the terrible sufferings of the Tribulations, the ones who died during that time will wake. Some will wake to eternal life. These are the Tribulation Saints. Others who died without Christ before the Rapture and those who died during that Tribulations and refused Christ and followed the antichrist will wake to eternal damnation. Those who are wise will shine in the eyes of God for they will bring many into a personal relationship with God. They will bring those who were in darkness into the Light of Jesus Christ their Lord and Savior.

People may say, I will still have a chance to be saved even if I miss the Rapture. They may think by reading this passage that they know that some will be saved during that time. To those people, I asked what will happen to your eternal soul if you die tonight? Where will you be standing when you stand before the throne of God? On His right hand with the righteous or to his left walking toward the Flames of HELL! Let’s say that you don’t die tonight, instead, Jesus Raptures His church and you are thrown headlong into Tribulation. Will you have the strength to resist the greatest deceiver that will ever live on this earth? Will you be able to find your faith and remain faithful to Christ when the ax blade is aimed at your neck? Will you save you life by taking the mark of satan? If you can’t give an affirmative answer to the first two of these questions and no to the last your chance is gone. Your soul will enter eternal damnation! The only real assurance anyone has is to be ready when the Trumpet of God sounds. Be ready for the first part of the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. Be ready for the RAPTURE!

Zechariah C. 12 V. 10 - And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.

This passage is foretelling a great soul harvest that will go on among the nation of Israel. All God’s chosen people, will look upon the one they had pierced. When Jesus comes, all the chosen people of God will see Him. Even those who witnessed His crucifixion. They will mourn because they rejected Jesus at His first coming. Now they will mourn as a parent would mourn the death of a child. The nation of Israel will be saddened because they rejected the very Messiah they had long awaited.

Can you who are believers imagine cheering as the Messiah is dragged through the streets to be judged by mortal men? Can you who are believers imagine screaming at the top of your lungs, with hate and disgust on your lips? CRUCIFY HIM! CRUCIFY HIM! Now imagine your pain when you discover that the one you persecuted was the only begotten Son of Almighty God.

Matthew C. 13 V. 41 - The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity.

Jesus will send His angels to separate those, who are WITH CHRIST, and those, who are WITHOUT CHRIST. Those who are without Christ will be thrown into the lake of fire, on the Day of Judgement. In the words of Christ, He tells us what will happen when His kingdom comes down out of heaven.
