Tom gently touched Jason’s face. “Listen to me son of my heart,” he said. “I love him too. He is my child. But you know what we believe. Death is not the end, it is merely a transition into the next stage of learning and growing. There will be no more pain or sorrow there, and he would walk free with the wind spirits, until it is time for him to be born again.” Jason nodded. “I know,” he groaned. “But I don’t want him to go.”
“Me neither son of my heart,” Tom whispered. “Me neither.”

A lovely, sincere story about friendship and human nature. Easy to read and to get involved in the character's lives. Loved it from beginning to end. Can't wait for the next installment.

Breathtaking.I didn't want to stop reading. A very clear view of different ways of life, mixed with humor and wonderful romance.
Psychic wiccan Deja Hamilton pulls shapeshifter Lincoln McCabe from the lake, and the two form an alliance against the covetous older brother who wants Lincoln dead.
