Are there snakes in your house?

Have you ever been called crazy? well, if you have, then this book will let you know that you are on the right track. because you realize there are snakes in your house.

What would happen if one day, you were at work, and today was a particularly difficult day. You unlock the door, and open it only to find that nobody is home (now this is fine if you live alone). However, if you are married with children, and none of the five family members are there, Houston, we have a problem. You look around calling for everyone, anyone; only to see a giant piece of paper stuck to the refrigerator door and it reads.... "BABY, POISONOUS SNAKES ARE LOOSE IN THE HOUSE EVERYWHERE......RUUUUUUUN.........WE ARE AT MOM'S, WILL EXPLAIN LATER!" Immediately, confusion is hugging your mind like an infant in a warm blanket, you think, "Snakes????? How did snakes get.......? What did she say??" Well, this can't be right, so you pick up the same telephone in your kitchen, as you also grab a bite to eat, and call your mother-in-law for some clarification.

she (your wife) obviously recognizes the number, since Mom has Caller ID, and realizes that you are still in the house.

She starts the conversation with "What are you doing in the house?? Did you read the note?" (Now some may wonder why it's on the refrigerator and NOT the front door!) Anyway, she says, "GET OUT OF THE HOUSE NOW!!!"

But you just have to have a better explanation than this...so your wife   says, "Today there was a block association party, and there was a snake handler who asked if he could park in our garage, so the snakes would not get hot in the van. the cooling systems was broke.

He assured me that it would be absolutely safe, and that nothing could go wrong...well, something went wrong--I never thought that Sammy, our son would EVER do something like this...but , he snuck back inside the garage, and somehow got the van door open; well, he saw the snakes and ran, leaving the van door open." She pauses to take a breath, then says "Apparently, he thought it was better not to tell on himself to avoid trouble, so he joined us outside and acted normal.

Well, the snake guy had already taken one sack of snakes outside to show the children, and answer questions that they had for him. When he came back to the van, he noticed that the van had been opened, and most of the snakes were gone. Now he found most of them, but......."

"But WHAT?" you scream. "Well, he was missing some..."

"HOW MANY?" you ask.

"Ten." she responds

"WHAT? Well, how did they get inside the house?" Just then, you remembered that when you remodeled recently, you connected the house to the garage. As you now looks around, you suddenly decide to use your cell phone. You cautiously make your way to the nearest exit, which just happens to be the window.

You do begin looking around as you leave in a much different manner than you ever have before.

Now notice, he didn't say to her, " OK, I'll leave as soon as the game is over, or as soon as I get me a bite to eat." Notice that he didn't say, "Baby, I am beat, that job today was something else!"

He did not say "If I see one, I'll catch him, what's the number to that snakeguy?"

For some reason, he didn't think to look around himself. He never once said, "Honey, you're silly, it's just snakes, they're as afraid of you as you are of them."

1. But he DID recognize the danger,

2.he DID remove himself from the premises,

3.he DID NOT take anything for granted.

In other words, he responded accordingly to the situation at hand.

Ladies and gentlemen, we seem to be stuck in the mindset that will support the nightmare that we find ourselves in, and

it's all in our minds.

This being the case, I have decided to LOSE that mind, and to find, discover, rent, borrow, or steal a mind that will be more cooperative to help me get where I need to get to be.

To also do the things that I need to do!

If there is a business that I am to create and run, I need a mind that will not cower in the face of that!

If there is the matter of self-esteem that needs to be improved, then this is the mission at hand. There is no time to start lolly-gagging about things that do not matter, and allow situations in other people's lives to rob us of precious time to fix whatever problem it is.

There really is not time for us to save ourselves, and continue reading about the ups and downs of Britney Spears, or whether Angelina Jolie does get back together with whomever...we simply don't have the luxury to read about that.

SNAKES ARE IN MY HOUSE!! I can't carry on a normal conversation. I don't know how to act anymore. I'm freaking out because I've got a problem. WHICH MUST BE ANSWERED A SITUATION THAT HAS TO BE SOLVED I'll do whatever is necessary.

I can't sit still anymore. I can't even sing my favorite song anymore, because there are snakes in my house and in my mind; venomous thought creatures ready and poised to attack me without notification, and then what will I do?

Where will I go?

How will I provide for my care? How will I survive, and if I do survive, how can I pay for my hospitalization? What will protect my family and I from being bitten to the point of death?

THERE ARE SNAKES IN MY LIFE!! If I have to lose all of the things that I believe to be real in order to discover and uncover WHAT IS REAL, then that's the route I will take. If it takes courage to stand in ways that will not gain the support of the majority, then it is upon this rock I shall stand.

Whatever it is that proves a hinderance to me doing something mighty, if that is what I was designated to do, MUST GO! If I'm considered crazy, then I'll just be crazy; normal has never served me well anyway.

What if I were made to stand out from the crowd? I wouldn't even know it, because there is little to no support available. How many people tell me on a regular basis that I can create the life I actually want? If they did tell me, would I be able to hear them, or would their efforts be overshadowed by the many and overwhelmingly high number of doubts that I hear, hidden in the undertones of my mind, heart and spirit?

I am truly convinced that it is the contents of my MIND that I must delete. As one song by George Clinton and Parliament says, "We want the funk, deprogram and reprogram!" Just in case you are above taking any advice from a Master Funkateer, then read this:

"The illiterate will no longer be just those who cannot read and write, but will include those who cannot learn, unlearn, or re-learn." A. Toffler in "Future Shock."

Look around...Are there Snakes in YOUR house?

That reminds me of the saying, "The man who does not read is no better than the man who can't." --Mark Twain

That was very nice. Sometimes losing your mind is what it takes in order to get out of self to make sense of things. Besides, if we were to believe everything we were taught and heard that alone could make one lose his or her mind.

Stay crazy and I'll see you at the top.
