Were her lips twitching and giving her lucky ace away? Her throat dried further as Marcy proudly clutched the tape to her chest and marched toward them. If Donavan spotted that cassette, he wouldn’t enter into a wager that could land him on his knees without seeing what was on the tape first. She needed his answer. Eve is clever and sassy she can give it almost as well as she can dish it. But, she knows she has submissive tendencies and is not a Mistress. Eve can’t let that be known though because she is afraid it will ruin her reputation and career. When she makes a bet with Donavan that she knows she can’t lose, she unknowingly sets herself up for her own downfall.

Donavan has wanted Eve for several years and every instinct he has screams that she is submissive. He knows she states otherwise, but her body language gives her away. Now, Donavan just needs to find a way to prove it to Eve. When he agrees to Eve’s bet and loses, he is devastated, frustrated and a bit angry, until he comes across information that changes the game.

Legally Bound is almost overwhelming as it is a kinky love story. Luckily I was reading an electronic version or I think the pages would have just burned up in my fingers. The heat between Eve and Donavan is palpable and from page one I was sucked into their story. Eve’s need to control everything is in direct contrast to her sexual desires and Donavan wants to be the one to expose Eve for all that she is and all that she can be.

There is a lot of heart in Legally Bound with its well developed characters and plot, it is more than a story about dominance and submission; Legally Bound is a story about being true to ourselves and what makes us happy and complete. Don’t miss out on Legally Bound if you like a snarky heroine, a caring alpha hero, and the complications that come along with it.
