Not much has changed in the last century when it comes to self evaluation. This book details the lives of men who changed their lives in a dramatic way. Their stories are so poignant that this book has been printed over and over through the years. This book discusses free will. Free will is a term usually associated with religion but in this book it goes in a different direction. Though the idea of Christianity is there, the term relates more to us and our choices.
The book focuses on a man named Frank Buchman, FB, who affects the lives of many people with hi teachings and stories. His words will cause the reader to re-evaluate as well. This is an excellent book for a book club or anyone who likes to discuss philosophy. Some of the ideas presented will cause dissenting views. You will constantly ask why and evaluate your own personal religion. This book has been reprinted 12 times for a reason.

Life Changers has a quality we don't see a lot in the world. This book has "staying power" because the idea of genuine self examination is evident. "F.B" was able to affect lives personal conversations and this book has the same power. The religious structure could not do what he did. He made people ask why and let them see that they don't have to stay the way they were. The way he "ministered" to people made me picture him as a little conscience sitting on the shoulder. The book is a good story for people interested in relationship with God instead of religion.

I enjoyed this book, but then I love a good discussion about who we are and why we are here. So if you are into theology and philosophy, this book will certainly be fodder for your brain. This book was first published by Harold Begbie in the early part of the twentieth century and republished recently by Tuchy Palmieri . It definitely has a Christian and biblical slant to it.

The book follows the philosophy of someone called F. B. ( you will find out at the end of the book who he is ) and his slant on personal religion. We follow the tales of several people who have attended some of the house parties that were given by, or in honer of F. B.. The stories are about how their lives were changed by the presence of the philosopher and his words.
