God's true gift of love to us is our children. But they are only loaned to us a short time. They all too soon grow to be adults leaving only the magical memories behind.

I remember the expression of love the year my son came home from school with a bookmark he had created from a piece of cardboard. It was a cross with a picture of Jesus crayoned on the front. This was definately a one of a kind collector's item to be cherished forever. It depicted Jesus as ablond with a crewcut......
As I read "Gifts of Love" it brought back memories of my own. As a mother, myself, I knew what the author was saying and for a moment, I thought it had come from my own heart. This touches your soul and reminds us of years long gone and why we should always cherish what we have. Life is short and the things that really count can't be bought or sold.
