You haven't written enough for me to know what caused the sepsis or the amputations. Or an excerpt from your book showing us your writing style. I have often written that I am, "a long-distance runner." It is a metaphor for my 56 years of paralysis and counting. Actually, I was a fairly good distance runner had a very good distance walker the very year that I was paralyzed.
