I was a little taken back by the price of the book at first, but as a professional business woman in another field, I recognize that good information doesn't come cheap. I found the investment worthwhile and I would recommend this book to anyone who wants the nuts and bolts of getting into the grant writing business.

A warning that the author issues about this book that should be heeded:
It is not for general grant writing/research or for people who are seeking personal grants.
However, for the grant-writing upstart it is a priceless guide! Thank you Beverly Browning...

I must say, that I have not read the book but I have taken the on-line course "How to become a grant writer consultant." The course is pretty much structured the way the book is (I have read some excerpts). I feel that my money was well worth the cost (under $60). As a result of this course, I have stepped out of my box and decided that I could do this. I am now proud to say that I am an Independent Grant Writer Consultant in my hometown of Houston, Texas. Its THIS step by step course that taught me what I needed to do to go about a dream and passion of mine. Keep up the excellent work Dr. Bev & continued success.
