They wove a social fabric, that lasts today.You may feel you can hear each one's own voice and their love for their life in a beautiful wilderness.   Excerpt 'Suddenly as we watched, the sky exploded with Northern lights in a wild display of bright pink, green and red - whipping across the sky in long perpendicular and swirling motions. They were everywhere at once. We didn't know where to look. We were caught in some magic spell that took us right out of time and place. 'Then with no warning, our peace was broken by the sound of many skidoos coming from behind the hills onto the bay ice below. They drove in wild disarray to become two straight lines and then they paused with their lights on. Another sound pierced the night air and we looked up to see a little plane fly over our heads and glide to a stop between the skidoo headlights. There was no proper runway with lights, the plane was to take out an Inuit man with a broken leg to a hospital in a town where there was a hospital and the skidoos provided a lighted path for the pilot to land.
