Two Americans have been kidnapped from Egypt. While they were on the way to Baghdad, Iraq, they hijacked the Iraqi airplane and landed in Shindand, west Afghanistan. The governor, Ismail Khan forced major David Watson, who was US Special Forces officer, to organize Afghan Special Forces. This is the story of their desperate attempts to escape the country.
On the last Wednesday afternoon of August. Kathryn went to visit the shelter. A few days ago, Bibi's father had finally given his consent to his daughter to move in the shelter. It was a quite difficult challenge to Kathryn. But little Tanya was the major player who had persuaded her grand father.
The next stop was a decent market to buy her some clothes. They went to a number of stores because Tanya was surprisingly very meticulous about colors. When they finished shopping, they were on the way back to the shelter.
"When are you going home, Kathryn?" Tanya asked again fearfully.
"I hope I will go home in a few weeks." She looked back at Tanya. "I mean I will go home in twenty some days."
"I am going to miss you very much," Tanya said, looking away.
"So will I, Tanya. But I will come back to see you again."
Tanya turned her face and looked at Kathryn. "When?"
"I don;t know excatly when because it is a long way from America to your country."
"I like America."
"How do you know? You've never been there, have you, Tanya?"
"No, but you told me about America. I don;t like to see people kill one another and some of my friends lost their arms and legs in minefields."
"I don;t like it either. But you can change that."
"hos? Her eyes sparkled.
