JigSaw
Like a jigsaw puzzle, piece by piece we build a life. Those we love, the hopes and dreams take shape, each piece a part of who we are, an interlocking scrapbook of time and place and people.
Then, one by one the pieces slip away. A person here and there, we lose the past. A portion of the picture slips out of focus. Bits and pieces of yesterday shift into memory.

Jigsaw is a lovely poem, with a calming and profound tone. If the other content of Passages is of this quality, then I hope it is widely read.
Mary Angela Nangini's poems celebrate the richness of life and love. From the city to cottage-country and the roads in between, Nangini explores the changing seasons of her varied region. (This book will soon be reprinted in hard cover.)
This is a book of free verse poetry that addresses the seven main tests in life and offers some sensible solutions to passing those tests with minimal discomfort.
