The Old Man calmly sat on his stool. His feet wrapped around the legs of the seat, he was serenely munching an apple. Mikos stood at the very front of the raft. The Rana's huge feet gripped the floor as the prow tilted nearly straight down. 'Now I know why these stools are secured with huge bolts to the floor.' Marc's arms ached as he clung to the railing and glaring at Jono. The young squirrel stood, one arm looped around the rail and grinning like a fool.
